Our Warranty

Every PC built and sold by TekSpert Computers comes with a 1-year warranty effective from the date of delivery. This warranty covers all hardware components installed at the time of purchase, including but not limited to: processor, graphics card, motherboard, memory, storage, power supply, case, and cooling solution.

What's Covered

  • Hardware defects and component failures under normal use
  • Faulty or dead-on-arrival (DOA) components
  • Thermal or stability issues arising from our assembly
  • Labour costs for diagnosis and repair
  • Return shipping when a warranty claim is approved

What's Not Covered

  • Physical damage, liquid spills, or accidental breakage
  • Damage resulting from overclocking beyond factory specifications
  • Software issues, viruses, or driver problems
  • Third-party modifications or unauthorised repairs
  • Cosmetic wear including scratches or dents from normal use
  • Components purchased separately and not installed by TekSpert

Returns Policy

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your PC, for any reason.

How to Return

  1. Contact our support team via the Contact page or by emailing support@tekspert.co.uk
  2. We'll issue a return authorisation number and provide packaging instructions
  3. Repackage the PC securely in its original packaging (if possible)
  4. Ship the PC back to us using a tracked delivery service
  5. Once inspected, a full refund will be processed within 14 days

Conditions

The PC must be returned in its original condition, complete with all accessories, cables, and documentation. If the PC shows signs of misuse or damage beyond what would be expected from opening and inspecting the product, we reserve the right to deduct a reasonable amount from the refund to cover the diminished value.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe your PC has a hardware fault covered under warranty:

  1. Contact us with your order number and a description of the issue
  2. We'll attempt to diagnose the problem remotely
  3. If a physical repair or replacement is needed, we'll arrange free collection
  4. Your PC will be repaired and returned, typically within 5–7 working days

In cases where a quick fix is possible (e.g. a replacement component), we may ship a replacement part directly to you with instructions for self-installation.

Manufacturer Warranties

In addition to our 1-year TekSpert warranty, individual components carry their own manufacturer warranties which may extend beyond our coverage period. These are typically:

  • CPUs — 3 years (Intel, AMD)
  • GPUs — 3 years (varies by manufacturer)
  • RAM — Lifetime (Corsair, Kingston, G.Skill)
  • SSDs — 3–5 years (varies by manufacturer)
  • Power Supplies — 5–10 years (varies by model)
  • Cases — 2 years (varies by manufacturer)

After your TekSpert warranty expires, we can assist you in making a manufacturer warranty claim directly.
